I've had this shade for about 2 weeks now..and finally getting to use it!
I purchased other np colors and so this little guy had to wait in line.



ESSIE NAIL POLISH in SMOOTH SAILING

O.K.
I normally don't jump at blue nail polishes
But when I saw this color (in there Brazillian Collection)
I thought it was so so so pretty!
It's a gorg blue shade with small glitter flex.
(I like that it's not too shimmery but...just right)

this instantly made my list for one of the dopest blue polishes thus far!

NAIL TUTORIAL: CRAZY COOL NAILS

CRAZY COOL NAILS!
I'LL BE SHOWING YOU HOW TO GET THIS LOOK! :D

Breakin out my Konad Stamp kit again
I use the leopard print & fence design.

For the designs I used:
Tip Toe Nail Polish in Platinum
I've learned from experience..in using my stamping kit, that some nail polish work great & some not at all.
For ex: I tried using Wet N Wild Black nail polish and it didn't pick up at all! :/

I used NYC long wear Nail Polish

• 140 Empire State Blue
• 111 Fuchsia Shock Creme
• 114 Taxi Yellow Creme
• 112 Times Square Tangerine Creme
  

I just painted one stripe of color on each nail until it dried, than painted another stripe of color below it and so on.
It's okay to get paint on your fingers when trying to paint a straight line
You'll clean it up later with a q-tip and nail polish remover

Once you've painted all your stripes of colors on your nails.
You'll use the stamping kit and I did leopard print on my fingers and the fence design on my thumbs.

My 2 yr. old's nails..she wanted her nails painted too.

This is my Right Hand as you can see it looks a little different.
It's missing the yellow stripe.
I wanted to see what it would look like with thicker stripes of color.
I like it! Looks like they were spray painted or something lol!
I still need to clean around the edges some.
So excuse that.
And last I went over with Top Coat
(Maybelline Express Finish Top Coat)
it's my fav. top coat right now..it dries fast and works great

FUN SUMMER ZEBRA NAILS

My KONAD nail stamping kit. You can get one like this on Ebay for like $12-13 dollars. They sell different design plates as well. This is a cheap/fun alternative than going to the salon and paying for a manicure. Cause Y'all know I never pay to get my nails done..cause yes, I do them myself! :D I love doing my nails..especially where not a lot of work is involved. Cause let's face it..being a mom or if your not a mom and just livin life..sometimes we don't have a lot of time to spend on ourselves and this took me like 15 min! SO, If you wanna know how to use this nail kit I betcha if you search on YTube someone out there has made a video! :D
So I wanted to use the Zebra design on the plate, So I chose to paint my nails a hot pink color from O.p.i. Your such a kabuki queen and for the Zebra print I just used a white polish from China glaze white on white.
& I think they turned out FAB!!
And I must say thank you to my 2 little girls for taking naps and allowing me to spend 15 minutes on myself and do my nails :) if you don't have kids..it's okay one day you will understand why im so friggin happy about getting 15 minutes to myself! yeah they slept longer than 15 minutes..but ello' I gots other things to do while there sleeping (like blog about my nails) hahaha jk. i dont' have time to edit this blog and read over it so if i messed up. sorry in advance. ok gotta go have a good day!
